How to mount folding chair on benches of inflatable boat

Mounting fishing chair on top of aluminum benches of inflatable boat.

A lot of customers asking if it possible to install folding fishing chair with back support on top of aluminum benches of inflatable boat. Problem is, that even that it easy to drill holes in aluminum bench, and simply bolt folding chair on top of that bench, once you lean against that back, bench would simply flip backward, slipping out of seat straps. It is not safe and dangerous. It is not enough to just bolt fishing chair on top of bench. You will need additional aluminum or stainless steel square or round tube to join front and rear bench together. That will add rigidity to both benches,and will prevent them from getting out from seat straps when rotational force applied to them.

See below pictures of customized folding seat installation on top of benches of Azzurro Mare inflatable boat.. Four seats were installed for comfortable ride. Also, there is square aluminum tube was added that joins front and rear bench on one side. Tube connected to benches with bolt and wing nut for easy removal. This is excellent demonstration of how folding beach chair can be mounted on aluminum benches of any inflatable boat.
