Based on extremely popular FB series of boats, new and longer 15' SATURN HD470 Heavy Duty boats are made with premium quality German PVC materials, and can handle up to 8 persons. Heavy-duty HD470 boat takes up to a maximum of 40 HP outboard motor, but will plane easily with a smaller 15-25 HP outboards. HD boats tubes are produced with advanced heat welding methods, and have reinforced transom holders. Heat welding seams offering better resistance against heat and humidity in a long run.
15' HD470 is exactly same as 14' HD430, but longer, has 3 benches instead of 2 and offer more spare inside and more buoyancy.
Extra wide and thick rub strakes at the bottom of the tubes and along the keel provide extra protection from sharp rocks and abrasive sand. The safety valve will prevent excessive air pressure in the boats chambers.
What makes HD470 inflatable boats unique, is a double grommet splash lines on top of tubes, with extra wide rub strake in between them. That area designed to be used for extra cargo, such as diving gear, fishing rods, coolers, boxes or duffel bags, etc. Any type of gear can be lashed down with bangee cords or tie downs between grommets. That will free up valuable real estate inside boat cockpit, leaving more space to operate boat and move around.
Saturn HD470 inflatable boats come with a 5 section heavy-duty aluminum floor. Floor installation steps are here. Please note that tubes and keel must be as hard as rock when inflated to avoid cracking to the floor.
Quick Tip! Worried about the heavy weight of a hard floored boat? Don't break your back! Get a foldable hand cart from any retail store to carry the folded boat around. Even inexpensive dolly movers will work great for transporting a folded or fully inflated boat. Get dinghy dolly wheels to easily move the inflated boat across the shore and into the water.
Note: Specifications and accessories are subject to change without notice. Max O/B Motor means: maximum power of outboard motor that can be safely used to plane the boat loaded to the maximum capacity at normal water surface conditions. Please exercise common sense and caution when using maximum motor capacity. Do not jump from wave to wave as new 4-stroke motors are much heavier then 2-stroke and provide extra strain on the transom. Under normal circumstances, with half the maximum persons/load capacity, 50% of maximum O/B power rating may be necessary to put boat on plane.
