Answer: It is normal for Li battery charger to become hot to the touch when charging. Maximum allowed temperature on the surface of the charger housing is 60 Celsius degree (140 Fahrenheit degree), with an ambient temperature of 25 Celsius degree (77 Fahrenheit degree). And it is 80 Celsius degree (176 Fahrenheit degree) when the ambient temperature is 40 Celsius degree (104 Fahrenheit degree). Please keep charger on a hard, smooth surface while charging. Do NOT leave charger over fabric surfaces, plastic or other surfaces that may get damaged due to heat exposure. Leave enough space for charger ventilation.
